About the Role

Oversee the development and execution of defence programs, aligning technical solutions with client objectives. Drive growth, manage high-level stakeholder engagement, and ensure delivery excellence across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and implementation for defence projects.
  • Manage relationships with key government and defence clients.
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure compliance, quality, and timeliness.
  • Develop long-term business development strategies in the defence sector.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align engineering solutions with mission requirements.
  • Provide executive oversight on program performance and risk management.
  • Guide cross-functional teams across regions and business units.
  • Ensure alignment with national security standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive innovation in defence infrastructure and systems design.
  • Represent the organization in high-level defence industry forums.
  • Mentor senior project and operational leaders.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial performance of defence portfolios.
  • Ensure integration of sustainability and resilience in defence projects.
  • Lead responses to complex defence procurement opportunities.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving defence policy and technology trends.
  • Support crisis response and contingency planning initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and mission focus.
  • Coordinate with external partners, contractors, and allied agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives within defence operations.
  • Evaluate emerging threats and opportunities in the defence landscape.
  • Support technology adoption and digital transformation in defence programs.
  • Foster collaboration between engineering, logistics, and security teams.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with national defence priorities.
  • Maintain executive-level communication with internal leadership.

Security Requirements

Applicant must hold an active U.S. security clearance at the Secret level or above. Candidates without current clearance will not be considered. Position may require access to classified information and facilities.

Travel Expectations

Up to 40% travel required, including visits to government sites, military bases, and international project locations. Flexibility to respond to urgent operational needs is essential.
