Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the design, build, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for a SaaS analytics platform. In this role, you will focus on automation, security, scalability, and reliability within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable software delivery and automated release processes.
Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Bash, Node.js, or similar technologies.
Implement and manage monitoring and logging systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical production systems.
Ensure infrastructure security and compliance through audits and vulnerability assessments.
Collaborate with development, QA, product, and customer support teams to enhance system reliability and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Operations Engineering roles in cloud-first environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.js.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Serverless framework.
Solid understanding of networking, security, Linux system administration, and cloud architecture.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently and within distributed teams.
