The Nielsen Company is hiring a Senior Design Manager

Shape the future of brand expression as a Senior Design Manager in a role that blends strategic leadership with creative excellence. You will define and direct creative vision across marketing, product, and executive communications, ensuring every visual and narrative element reflects both innovation and precision. Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll operate as the central force behind a unified, in-house creative engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a modern creative practice that serves as a strategic partner to marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Develop scalable creative frameworks, brand architectures, and storytelling models that resonate across global audiences and channels
  • Direct the creation of high-impact campaigns, product narratives, and executive communications grounded in customer insights
  • Translate complex data platforms and B2B solutions into compelling, accessible visual stories
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to align creative assets with demand generation, retention, and sales enablement
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all content—balancing creativity with the rigor expected of a trusted insights brand
  • Mentor designers, writers, and producers while guiding external partners to meet strategic and creative benchmarks
  • Present sophisticated strategies clearly to senior stakeholders, translating vision into actionable plans

Qualifications

Candidates should bring over a decade of creative experience with global brands, including at least seven years leading teams and managing agencies. A proven ability to execute large-scale, integrated campaigns is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, with advanced credentials a plus.
