ZOE is hiring a Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

This role involves designing and implementing data models, conducting in-depth analysis, and translating findings into business recommendations. The individual will collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive data-informed solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business challenges
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover patterns and trends
  • Collaborate with product teams to define key metrics and success criteria
  • Design and run A/B tests to evaluate product changes
  • Create data visualizations to communicate results to stakeholders
  • Optimize data pipelines for efficiency and scalability
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across systems
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in data science
  • Stay current with emerging methodologies in machine learning and statistics
  • Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to the development of data strategy and roadmaps
  • Work closely with engineers to integrate models into production systems
  • Evaluate new data sources for potential integration
  • Support the design of experiments and causal inference studies
  • Use statistical techniques to validate assumptions and results
  • Drive automation of reporting and analytics processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement using data
  • Maintain documentation for models and analyses
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards
  • Collaborate on feature development using predictive analytics
  • Assess model performance and recommend refinements
  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests from leadership

  • Promote a culture of data literacy across teams
