Redcare Pharmacy is looking for a Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) to shape the future of how millions of users find what they need. As the domain lead for search, you'll be part of a cross-functional team that puts data science, machine learning, and AI at the heart of our product, setting the path for bringing innovation to production.
What You'll Do
- Take the lead in our search domain, designing, building, and scaling production-grade search systems for e-commerce use cases.
- Conduct experiments and analyses and transform insights into innovative technical solutions that boost search relevance and user satisfaction.
- Enable your colleagues by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and supporting the growth of search expertise within the team.
- Drive end-to-end data science workflows, from problem definition through model deployment and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and AI teams to build impactful data-driven products.
What We're Looking For
- M.Sc. in Computer Science, or a similar field and a solid academic background.
- Hands-on experience building and running search systems in production, especially within e-commerce environments.
- Customer-centric mindset and understanding of how to measure business impact.
- Enjoys enabling others, sharing knowledge and uplifting team capabilities.
- Thrives in an environment that values exploration and long-term impact.
Nice to Have
- Academic background in (interactive) Information Retrieval, or a related field.
- Ph.D. in that domain.
