EX Squared is looking for a Remote Data Engineer - Mid-Level to join our team. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our analytics and products.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
- Implement data models and schemas to support business intelligence and analytics
- Monitor data quality and ensure the integrity and performance of our data systems
- Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Optimize data storage and processing for cost and efficiency
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and managing data infrastructure
- Strong proficiency with SQL and experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data quality
