EX Squared is looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to own the development of robust data infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Implement data models and warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics
- Monitor data quality and performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with a modern data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Hands-on experience with pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Prefect)
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code in Python for data processing
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud data services on AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
