About the Role

EX Squared is looking for a Remote Engineer, Data - Mid-Level to develop robust data systems and pipelines. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines
  • Implement data models and warehouses to support analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to understand data needs
  • Monitor data infrastructure performance and ensure data quality
  • Optimize data processing for efficiency and cost

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL and a modern programming language like Python or Scala
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time streaming data technologies
  • Knowledge of data governance and security principles
  • Background in software engineering practices

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
