Crusoe Energy is seeking a Senior Data Scientist as an early and pivotal hire on our growing central Data Science and Engineering team. You will drive significant impact across product analytics, operations, go-to-market strategies, and capacity planning, contributing directly to our mission to meet the demand for AI infrastructure sustainably.
What You'll Do
- Build and deploy models for financial forecasting and product analysis to drive strategic decisions.
- Investigate operational incidents and predict failures, implementing solutions for system reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct deep analysis of cloud infrastructure product usage and performance to guide improvement and feature development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high-quality data and contribute to the scalable evolution of our modern data infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Deep familiarity with core analytical methods including Monte Carlo simulation, predictive analytics, and time series modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of current data infrastructure architectures.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights.
- A proven track record and passion for data quality.
- The ability to act autonomously to drive analytics projects forward.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
- Experience building cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience on a growing or early-stage data team, contributing to foundational development.
