Experian seeks a Senior Data Scientist Consultant to join our Turkey team. In this consultative role, you will partner directly with Experian clients to analyze their challenges and design data-driven solutions that drive business value.

What You'll Do

Contribute in a consultative way with Experian clients to identify problems and provide analytical solutions.
Design solutions for the whole customer lifecycle and for regulatory parameter estimation and validation projects based on Experian Decision Analytics best practice solutions.
Present analytical solutions to clients and suggest market solutions in the analytics and regulatory area.
Produce proposals, demonstrate good project management skills, and act as a project leader for delivering analytical projects.
Develop working relationships with managers and executives within client organizations to achieve project goals.
Seek out opportunities that help grow the business, help win new business, and enhance existing client relationships.
Identify opportunities to deliver analytical projects to clients and conduct feasibility studies to support sales activities.

What We're Looking For

A degree or equivalent standard with a high numeric content (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operational Research) from a top university. A degree in Data Science is also relevant.
3+ years of experience, preferably in analytics and consultancy.
Experience managing and delivering high quality data analytics.
Eagerness to propose solutions and an ability to establish solutions matched to requirements.
Good knowledge and experience in products and operations, especially in the Banking and Telecommunications sectors (e.g., Credit risk management, Customer management, Data management, Basel Accord, IFRS9, Collections).
Experience in programming and data preparation with SAS, SPSS, SQL, proficiency in Python, and preferably in some of R, Scala, C/C++ or similar.
Experience with several learning techniques such as clustering, regression, neural networks, SVMs, trees, and ensemble methods like random forests and boosting.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
