About the Role

The Senior Data Scientist will lead the design and implementation of predictive models and analytical solutions to support strategic healthcare initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate complex data into practical business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy machine learning models to extract insights from healthcare data

  • Translate business requirements into technical data projects

  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Maintain data quality standards across analytical workflows
  • Optimize algorithms for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Stay current with advancements in data science and healthcare analytics
  • Support A/B testing and experiment design for product features
  • Document methodologies and ensure reproducibility of results
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in data science
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations
  • Work with large, complex datasets from diverse healthcare sources
  • Use statistical techniques to validate hypotheses and inform strategy
  • Drive automation of reporting and analytical processes
  • Contribute to roadmap planning for data science initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in operations
  • Collaborate on data governance and metadata management
  • Apply natural language processing to unstructured clinical text when needed
  • Support the validation of third-party data sources
  • Participate in code reviews and model audits
  • Ensure ethical use of data and algorithmic transparency
  • Balance innovation with practical deployment constraints
