Responsibilities
- Leads the rollout of the data governance framework, handling data-related change requests across departments.
- Establishes and upholds data governance policies, standards, and data quality benchmarks.
- Designs and manages data stewardship procedures to maintain accurate and well-documented data sets.
- Aligns data governance efforts with organizational goals and strategic direction.
- Partners with teams to create policies and ensure adherence to legal and internal compliance standards.
- Delivers training and guidance on data governance practices and data handling protocols.
- Develops data governance approaches that integrate enterprise needs and legal requirements for data privacy.
- Works with analytics teams to support reliable data assets while not directly managing analytics functions.
- Serves as a cross-functional connector to interpret data requirements and ensure system-wide process alignment.
- Supports organization-wide initiatives to standardize metadata, data lineage, and data sharing practices.
