InfluxData is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to support our growing data infrastructure. You will maintain and enhance data pipelines to enable high-quality, trusted data across the business, working closely with our Growth Analyst to power key insights and support our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines across multiple sources including: Product telemetry, CRM data, Billing systems, Marketing and user behavior tools.
- Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Develop and manage data models and transformations using DBT.
- Support event tracking implementation and integration using Rudderstack.
- Partner with the Growth Analyst to deliver data for dashboards and reporting in Domo.
- Ensure data integrity in Snowflake and assist with warehouse optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and data governance processes.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Domo.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python languages.
- Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
- Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple priorities.
- Strong debugging and data troubleshooting skills.
