About the Role

InfluxData is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to support our growing data infrastructure. You will maintain and enhance data pipelines to enable high-quality, trusted data across the business, working closely with our Growth Analyst to power key insights and support our Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines across multiple sources including: Product telemetry, CRM data, Billing systems, Marketing and user behavior tools.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data reliability, accuracy, and performance.
  • Develop and manage data models and transformations using DBT.
  • Support event tracking implementation and integration using Rudderstack.
  • Partner with the Growth Analyst to deliver data for dashboards and reporting in Domo.
  • Ensure data integrity in Snowflake and assist with warehouse optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and data governance processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Domo.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python languages.
  • Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time across multiple priorities.
  • Strong debugging and data troubleshooting skills.
