Erste Group is hiring a Senior Data Analyst responsible for designing, modeling, storing, and extracting business-relevant information from data warehouses and data lakes. What You'll Do
- Work as a trusted partner for business stakeholders to translate their needs into meaningful data solutions.
- Ensure data quality by gathering and validating data from reliable sources.
- Analyze, interpret, and model data to generate actionable insights.
- Map existing data flows and propose improvements.
- Define acceptance criteria and support QA processes.
- Collaborate closely with ETL and data engineering teams.
- Contribute to DWH architecture and data optimization initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and relevant business concepts.
- Solid knowledge of Data Management and data quality principles.
- Strong understanding of DWH architecture (physical structures, data integration, reporting).
- Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate or at least 1 year of hands-on work with Oracle SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-organization, teamwork orientation, and openness to change.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Databricks is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology; experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of BI/IT solution implementation steps.
