Erste Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, modeling, storing, and extracting business-relevant information from our data warehouses and data lakes. You'll translate complex data into clear, actionable insights while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business, IT, and data engineering.

What You'll Do

Work as a trusted partner for business stakeholders to translate their needs into meaningful data solutions.
Ensure data quality by gathering and validating data from reliable sources.
Analyze, interpret, and model data to generate actionable insights.
Map existing data flows and propose improvements.
Define acceptance criteria and support QA processes.
Collaborate closely with ETL and data engineering teams.
Contribute to DWH architecture and data optimization initiatives.
Stay curious, proactive, collaborative, and continuously open to learning.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and relevant business concepts.
Solid knowledge of Data Management and data quality principles.
Strong understanding of DWH architecture, including physical structures, data integration, and reporting.
Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate certification or at least 1 year of hands‑on work with Oracle SQL.
Strong understanding of BI/IT solution implementation steps.
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, self‑organization, teamwork orientation, and openness to change.

Nice to Have

Experience with Databricks is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with Scrum methodology; experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
