Owlchemy Labs is hiring a Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to assess existing data resources, recommend enhancements, and design strategies for gathering, evaluating, and automating data to support technical and business decisions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data workflows, analytical models, reporting tools, and operational procedures to guarantee reliable and precise data handling.
  • Create and manage product performance dashboards that serve as authoritative sources for leadership, product teams, and marketing divisions.
  • Engage with cross-functional partners to advise on the use of quantitative and qualitative metrics and KPIs to influence outcomes across business, marketing, finance, and development.
  • Identify patterns in user behavior and gameplay trends to inform the creation or refinement of game features and content.
  • Work alongside marketing and sales teams to evaluate project performance during development, launch, and post-release phases.
  • Support the 'Project-Role Framework' approach by delivering thorough and well-structured analyses throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Document insights using industry-standard practices, including clear data visualizations such as charts, tables, and presentation slides.
  • Develop automated reporting systems and dashboards to improve visibility into key business metrics and player engagement.
  • Keep up with advancements in Unity and virtual reality technologies, and share relevant knowledge across the organization.
  • Monitor global data privacy laws and compliance standards to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

Work Arrangement

Remote (Worldwide) — United States, Canada, Austin, TX

  • Required to use virtual reality headsets as part of job functions.
  • No personal ownership of a virtual reality headset is necessary.
  • Applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
  • Full-time position with remote work setup, requiring 40 hours per week.
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time.
  • Employees based outside Austin, TX must travel to Austin 4 to 6 times annually.
