Mywolterskluwerbenefits is hiring a Senior CX/UX Designer to take on an influential role driving the design process for our enterprise applications. You will tackle complex user flows, create high-fidelity prototypes, and lead research initiatives to deliver exceptional user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for complex projects.
- Facilitate discovery and research activities to gain a better understanding of user pain points.
- Develop and uphold design systems to ensure consistency across products.
- Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback on their work.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.
- Drive the iterative design process based on user feedback and usability testing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends and technologies.
- Present and defend design decisions based on user research and best practices.
- Ensure all design work adheres to accessibility standards and guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years experience designing or developing visual and interactive interfaces for desktop and cloud environments as a UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, front-end developer, or similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of usability standards (WCAG 2.0 AA), UCD methodologies, and UX best practices.
- Strong interest and understanding of information architecture.
- Demonstrated skill in creating concept designs, user flows/journeys, wireframes, mockups, and other product deliverables.
- Proficient with Figma, Miro or similar design and collaboration tools.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Angular, ng-Bootstrap and related technologies.
- Proficient designing high-performance applications and responsive web design.
- Strong, clean visual design sense.
- Experience in a formal Agile development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated mentorship and design leadership; excellent communication to connect with stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of UX design experience for large, enterprise applications in cloud environments.
- NN/g UX certification or credits toward a certification.
- Experience with designing solutions that incorporate AI/ML technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Asana preferred.
- Understanding of common software project management and development practices.
- Ability to break research and design work down into estimable tasks.
- Experience with other front-end frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various deadlines.
