Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes to identify user needs, challenges, and gaps.
- Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Assist in workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with stakeholders.
- Create documentation for process flows, current-state/value-stream maps, and solution outlines.
- Develop intuitive dashboards, visual reports, and insight-driven storyboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Create visualizations to aid operational, financial, or performance decision-making.
- Collaborate with data teams to establish metrics, KPIs, and data formatting needs.
- Support the creation and iteration of prototypes based on user feedback.
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more delivery teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Manage backlog hygiene and sprint execution with the Product Owner; address impediments and coordinate cross-team efforts.
- Monitor scope, risks, issues, and dependencies; maintain delivery plans and burn-down/burn-up reports.
- Train teams on Agile best practices and encourage continuous improvement.
- Apply knowledge of the Oil & Gas value chain (Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream) to support data and workflow discussions.
- Learn domain-specific processes such as production reporting, maintenance workflows, logistics, or commercial operations as needed.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to deepen industry knowledge on the job.
