Lead and manage client engagements focused on financial and operational improvements, collaborating with senior leadership to identify inefficiencies, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. This position plays a key role in guiding clients through complex assessments, from data collection to final recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior advisors to support clients in operational reviews, financial reporting, cost optimization, and compliance initiatives
- Lead client interactions, including interviews, data requests, and presentation of findings and action plans
- Conduct on-site or virtual fieldwork such as process mapping, control evaluations, and data analysis
- Analyze large datasets using MS Excel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing methodologies, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and guide junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business advisory, analytics, or a related field—relevant experience may substitute for specific academic focus
- At least five years of experience in audit or assurance, preferably within public accounting
- Background in consulting, business analytics, or operational improvement is highly valued
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data analysis techniques
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Willingness to travel occasionally, estimated at up to 15% of the time
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with a flexible schedule. Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with adjusted summer hours ending at noon on Fridays. Additional time may be required during peak periods. Compensation & Growth
Salary ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, with potential adjustments based on experience. The firm offers a clear advancement path, including eligibility for partnership over time.
