CoolGames is looking for a Senior Casual Game Developer to take ownership of the entire development lifecycle for our HTML5 casual games. You will be a key contributor in an agile, multidisciplinary team, building experiences from concept to live operations.
What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for delivering high-quality game products.
- Develop new titles, evolve existing games, and contribute to maintenance and internal tooling.
- Manage your time and productivity to deliver robust code while meeting deadlines.
- Perform optimization, debugging, bug fixes, and code reviews.
- Review requirements, ensure platform compatibility, and keep games stable and performant.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience.
- Solid knowledge of development best practices.
- Ability to strike a consistent balance between speed and quality.
- Consistently accurate estimation skills.
- Proactive communication and technical risk mitigation.
- Excellent contribution to technical design and decision-making.
- Understanding of the commercial reality of casual games.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Experience with version control tools like git.
- Experience with web game tech such as PIXI, Phaser, or Three.js.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HTML5 games, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
