Valatam is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our fully remote team building an innovative platform that streamlines cost estimating for real estate development. You will directly contribute to our core product, an estimating tool and marketplace for multifamily, and soon commercial and retail, projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain frontend features using React and Next.js.
- Implement UI components using Shadcn and modern design systems.
- Collaborate with the in-house frontend engineer to ensure consistency and performance.
- Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
- Use AI-augmented coding tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot efficiently and responsibly.
- Build frontend features integrated with Claude Code under structured engineering direction.
- Participate in UI reviews, sprint planning, and frontend architecture discussions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and a scalable frontend structure.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
- 2 to 6 years of experience with frontend programming.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Shadcn, Cursor / GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Git / CI-CD tools.
- A quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and a backup connection.
