Responsibilities
- Create Power BI executive dashboards that deliver actionable performance insights for senior leadership
- Build dynamic forecasting models and run-rate calculations to support financial planning
- Incorporate financial assumptions into reporting to enhance visibility into profitability and margins
- Develop concise summaries of key performance indicators, variance analysis, and trend reporting
- Enable interactive exploration across organizational levels, business units, and operational metrics
- Design and refine semantic models in Power BI for clarity and efficiency
- Establish consistent definitions and calculation logic for KPIs across the organization
- Enhance the speed and manageability of datasets through optimization techniques
- Merge and streamline existing BI models to reduce redundancy and improve usability
- Lead the transition of BI datasets from SQL Server and Power BI Desktop to Microsoft Fabric
- Build trusted semantic models and KPI frameworks on top of Lakehouse infrastructure
- Design business-facing data views and metrics in the curated data layer to support analytics
- Implement Dataflows, managed datasets, and scalable semantic models in Power BI
- Partner with data engineering teams to leverage raw and cleansed data layers for reliable metrics
- Ensure the Fabric platform enables scalable reporting, self-service analytics, and AI readiness
- Support the development of BI standards and data governance policies
- Help build a robust analytics ecosystem for executive, operational, and advanced reporting needs
- Maintain well-documented, reusable datasets optimized for performance and consistency
