What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services that power a high-performance SaaS platform
- Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and design teams to align on system behavior and integration points
- Use AI-assisted development tools—including Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor—to reduce repetitive tasks and increase coding efficiency
- Drive progress through structured 6-week development cycles, focusing on measurable outcomes
- Apply strong technical judgment to ensure system security, reliability, and end-to-end ownership of user-facing features
- Travel once per quarter for a week-long team gathering in London, Warsaw, or Prishtina to strengthen collaboration and alignment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with a track record of owning complex systems
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to code quality and system security
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered coding assistants to enhance development workflows
- Willingness to engage in regular in-person team events as part of a distributed team model
Nice to Have
- Prior work in cross-functional product teams with shared delivery goals
- Familiarity with short-cycle development frameworks
