Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain distributed systems for blockchain data processing
- Design APIs for low-latency, high-throughput transaction handling
- Improve system resilience under network congestion
- Collaborate on consensus-adjacent protocols
- Monitor production systems and respond to incidents
- Write clean, testable code with strong operational focus
- Contribute to architectural decisions for long-term scalability
- Optimize database performance for time-series blockchain data
- Support tooling for internal and external developers
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
Requirements
- Proven experience with Go or Rust in production environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems principles
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Familiarity with message queues and stream processing
- Knowledge of cryptographic primitives and their applications
- Track record of delivering reliable backend services
- Ability to debug complex system interactions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
- Hands-on experience with Ethereum or similar networks
- Exposure to zero-knowledge proof systems
- Background in systems programming or kernel development
- Prior work on consensus or mempool logic
- Understanding of front-running and transaction ordering
- Experience with formal verification tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for backend deployment
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend services
- Published research or talks in systems or crypto domains
