Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization systems
- Develop backend services for identity management at scale
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce access policies
- Maintain high availability and performance of IAM systems
- Integrate identity solutions across distributed services
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards
- Optimize system performance and reliability
- Support incident response related to access systems
- Contribute to disaster recovery and failover planning
- Work with APIs to enable secure user access
- Implement multi-factor authentication workflows
- Monitor system health and usage patterns
- Automate operational tasks for IAM infrastructure
- Evaluate and integrate third-party identity providers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IAM best practices
- Document system architecture and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on security and backend development
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline
- Experience with identity governance frameworks
- Contributions to open-source IAM projects
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
- Experience with zero-trust security models

- Background in security engineering or cryptography
