About the Role
The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and reliability of the gaming applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and efficient server-side applications
- Develop and maintain APIs and database schemas
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Optimize and refine applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Implement and maintain database systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of the data
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Implement and maintain caching mechanisms
