Ciklum is hiring a Senior Automation QA Engineer

The Senior Automation QA Engineer will work within a cross-functional team to ensure software quality across the development lifecycle. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining automated tests, collaborating with developers and product managers, mentoring junior engineers, and identifying defects in a global ticketing platform serving the arts and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and contribute QA insights during all development stages
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
  • Perform comprehensive regression testing to detect and resolve potential issues
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and expertise
  • Analyze, document, and track defects while coordinating with development teams for timely fixes

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Puppeteer, and Gatling, with knowledge of design patterns like Page Object Model
  • Proficient in programming languages including Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud infrastructure
