Carrier is looking for a Senior Associate - Energy Management - Building Automation Systems Projects to manage the full lifecycle of multisite energy and system integration projects. You will be responsible for planning installations, coordinating third-party vendors, and ensuring successful remote commissioning and handover. This role is central to delivering on Carrier's mission to make modern life possible through safer, smarter, and more sustainable services.
What You'll Do
- Project manage and deliver multisite Energy Management Installations through Carrier's ABOUND vendor team.
- Interface with client stakeholders across delivery, IT, and finance departments for all project-related work.
- Undertake project costing, including vendor and product cost sheets, and secure necessary approvals.
- Manage project inventory and related requirements.
- Create and manage project schedules in collaboration with vendors and remote commissioning teams.
- Validate vendor invoices and approve them for payment.
- Manage client billing, invoicing, and collection processes.
- Track and coordinate multi-team functions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform internal and client reporting as required by the project.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects aligned with their goals.
- Perform quality control throughout project development to maintain expected standards.
- Adjust schedules and targets as project needs or financing change, managing change orders.
- Ensure project profit margins are maintained and support any deviation for exception approval.
- Handle packing, shipping, and handling of project materials to deployment sites.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in project management for Building Automation System deployment.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in business management.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in energy projects or BAS deployment.
- Minimum of 2 multisite rollout experiences (retail and QSR) in Building Automation deployment.
- Proficiency in the Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience in deployment of Tridium Niagara BAS.
- Experience with other BAS platforms such as Trane, Novar, or JCI.
- Knowledge of HVAC and lighting controllers.
