About the Role

This position involves guiding the design and implementation of Ansible-based automation solutions tailored to the needs of financial institutions, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design of automation solutions using Ansible for enterprise clients in financial services.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape roadmap priorities based on customer feedback.
  • Deliver technical guidance during customer engagements involving complex IT environments.
  • Develop reference architectures and implementation blueprints for automation at scale.
  • Advise on best practices for security, compliance, and governance in automated workflows.
  • Present technical strategies to executive stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
  • Support pre-sales activities with deep product expertise and solution demonstrations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical automation frameworks.
  • Work closely with support teams to resolve high-impact technical issues.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and enablement programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends in financial services IT infrastructure and regulatory demands.
  • Participate in community events, conferences, and customer workshops.
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, and auditability standards.
  • Integrate Ansible with third-party tools commonly used in banking and finance environments.
  • Drive adoption of open standards and interoperable systems.
  • Assist in the validation of automation use cases across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.
  • Mentor junior team members on technical and architectural best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration with existing automation platforms.
  • Document solution designs and maintain architecture decision records.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer between technical teams and client organizations.
  • Promote consistency in automation practices across global accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tooling and streamline deployment processes.
  • Ensure customer success through proactive technical oversight and engagement.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce policy-as-code principles.
  • Support incident response efforts requiring automation expertise.
