About the Role
This role is part of a proactive talent initiative to identify skilled professionals ahead of formal openings, ensuring rapid consideration when positions become available.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine prompts for vision-language models to support document classification, text extraction, and rule-based validation.
- Develop and operate evaluation systems to assess model performance across accuracy, cost, and response time.
- Evaluate emerging models, including Azure OpenAI and alternatives, and advise on upgrades considering quality and cost efficiency.
- Extract structured data from large language models using function calling, JSON output formatting, and Pydantic-based validation.
- Enhance and support a Python-based backend using FastAPI and asynchronous workers, alongside a Next.js-powered frontend interface.
- Develop robust and scalable AI workflows leveraging Azure services such as App Services, Blob Storage, and message queues.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve live issues spanning AI components and application infrastructure.
