The Senior Analytics Engineer at P2P.org will play a key role in advancing validator economics, protocol research, and data infrastructure within the Solana blockchain ecosystem. You will analyze staking performance, design data solutions, and deliver actionable insights that shape product and business strategy across decentralized networks.
What You'll Do
- Analyse validator performance, staking economics, and revenue drivers across networks.
- Conduct protocol-level research to understand incentives, validator mechanics, and network dynamics.
- Identify opportunities to optimize validator economics and validation strategies.
- Monitor the blockchain ecosystem to detect emerging opportunities, risks, and strategic developments.
- Produce insights and analysis to support product, business, and validation strategy decisions.
- Design and deploy end-to-end data solutions, from analysis and modeling to production deployment.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for validator analytics, reporting, and protocol monitoring.
- Define data requirements for the Data Engineering team (granularity, frequency, data quality).
- Govern domain data marts and ensure clear data lineage from source systems to reporting layers.
- Build dashboards and analytical tools.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with Solana data
- Advanced SQL, including different joins and window expressions. We are using Google BigQuery
- Analytical Python stack.
- Familiarity with ETL instruments such as Airflow & DBT
- Data research skills, probability theory, and mathematical statistics. Ability to operate in such models as regressions and A/B tests.
- Data storytelling skills. Ability to form your opinion and prove it with data beyond a reasonable doubt.
- Effective work with data consumers. You need to own a task, decompose it, and pass it after completion.
