Role Summary

Join a forward-thinking team as a Senior Analyst focused on Workday Absence and Benefits. In this remote role based in Noida, India, you will lead the end-to-end management of Workday configurations, ensuring systems evolve to meet changing business and compliance needs. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and efficiency of global HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, setup, and continuous improvement of Workday Absence and Benefits modules for US and international regions
  • Act as the go-to expert for configuration changes, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
  • Work closely with People Operations, Total Rewards, and Payroll teams to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Drive the full configuration cycle—from gathering requirements to testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Resolve system issues and support ticket inquiries, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes
  • Evaluate new Workday releases and assess impacts on current setups and integrations
  • Advise teams on best practices for data integrity, compliance, and process efficiency
  • Enhance employee self-service experiences by streamlining absence and benefits workflows
  • Provide input on related areas such as Compensation, Time Tracking, and HCM when cross-functional alignment is needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct Workday configuration experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Absence and Benefits
  • Thorough knowledge of the Workday Absence Framework, eligibility rules, benefit events, enrollment logic, and time-off accruals
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert complex requirements into effective system designs
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently in a global, matrixed organization
  • Completion of Workday Absence and Benefits certification

Preferred

  • Experience with Workday integrations including EIBs, RaaS, Workday Studio, and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with downstream data flows and integration dependencies
  • Background in or collaboration with Workday Payroll implementations
  • Agile project experience using tools such as Monday.com, FreshService, or ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated interest in improving HR processes through automation and user-centered design

Work Mode

This is a remote position supporting a global team. Candidates must be located in Noida, India, and available to work shift hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
