The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Airbyte and data infrastructure, supporting scalable ETL workflows and ensuring reliable data movement across systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Airbyte connectors for diverse data sources
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot synchronization issues across data platforms
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate Airbyte into existing workflows
- Document configurations and operational procedures
- Monitor pipeline health and resolve failures promptly
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across destinations
- Implement security best practices in data transfers
- Support schema evolution and data model changes
- Integrate Airbyte with orchestration tools like Airflow
- Assist in upgrading Airbyte instances and managing versions
- Provide technical guidance to team members on ETL patterns
- Evaluate new data sources for connector development
- Maintain high availability of critical data pipelines
- Contribute to infrastructure as code for deployment automation
- Participate in code reviews for data integration components
- Analyze data latency and propose improvements
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies
- Support testing and validation of new pipeline features
