Bloomreach is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join their Artificial Intelligence team and help revolutionize marketing with ML-powered solutions. You will build and maintain ML-powered features in production, working on cutting-edge AI technologies like Loomi AI to drive personalization for over 1,400 global brands.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver new ML-powered features by translating business requirements into technical specifications and design documents
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure technical feasibility and scalability of new ML features
- Define and develop back-office API endpoints for feature configuration
- Develop high-performance serving endpoints
- Develop and implement ML models, algorithms, and data pipelines to support new features
- Deploy and monitor new features in production with seamless integration into existing systems
- Perform rigorous testing and quality assurance of ML models and code, including unit tests, integration tests, and A/B testing
- Implement monitoring systems and dashboards to track ML model performance in production
- Identify potential issues and optimize for accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to developing and implementing DevOps and MLOps best practices within the team
- Maintain end-to-end features including back-office APIs, models, definitions, and high-performance serving APIs
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ML-powered features
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and implement enhancements
- Support client-facing colleagues in investigation of possible issues (L3 support)
- Document code, design decisions, and operational procedures for maintenance and knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Python engineering with a strong focus on designing and maintaining AI/ML-powered features in production environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and relevant services for ML development and deployment
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, particularly in building and maintaining scalable and reliable APIs and microservices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment
- Familiarity with common ML frameworks, libraries, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience in domains such as Predictions, Contextual bandits, Autosegmentation, MLOps
- Experience working with large amounts of data
- Experience with platforms and algorithms for model training, data processing, and ML pipelines
