Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance our platform, streamline workflows, and deliver measurable impact. In this remote role, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced AI systems, integrating approaches like RAG and agentic models.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI features that optimize platform functionality and internal workflows.
- Design and maintain generative AI systems using advanced techniques such as RAG, agents, and other context-driven models.
- Partner with data engineering to evolve AI-focused infrastructure, integrating diverse data sources into scalable pipelines.
- Take technical ownership of projects, from planning through execution, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuously improving processes, and staying ahead of emerging AI trends.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 4+ years specializing in generative AI and machine learning systems.
- Proven experience deploying AI solutions in production environments, integrating LLM APIs into real-time applications.
- Strong Python expertise.
- Familiarity with genAI frameworks such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with common genAI design patterns (RAG, agents, model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines).
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, data science concepts, and enterprise AI lifecycle management.
- Experience with relational and vector databases.
- Experience with MLOps practices.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with leadership, engineering, product, and design teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills, with a proactive and impact-driven mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with MySQL and Databricks.
