Role Overview
As a Senior Affera Mapping Specialist, you will deliver expert-level clinical and technical support for advanced cardiac mapping and navigation systems across Florida. You will work directly with electrophysiologists, clinical staff, and sales professionals to ensure optimal use of cardiac ablation technologies in real-world settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on training and education to physicians and hospital teams on electrophysiology mapping systems and related procedures
- Support live clinical cases to ensure safe, effective use of cardiac ablation solutions
- Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to identify opportunities for product adoption and customer growth
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders to promote long-term engagement and technical proficiency
- Act as a field expert and advocate for cardiac mapping technology, sharing best practices across the region
- Support sales objectives by aligning technical expertise with market needs and regional goals
- Maintain daily presence within the assigned territory to respond to unscheduled clinical demands
- Travel regularly within Florida, including overnight stays as needed
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following educational and experience combinations:
- High school diploma with at least 8 years of direct experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
- Associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in the field
Additional requirements include:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive up to 50% of the time
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (or more, if preferred)
- Ability to remain mobile during full-day procedures in clinical environments
- Exposure to radiation and infectious disease is possible in clinical settings
Preferred Background
- Degree in nursing, life sciences, or a technical field with at least four years in cardiac care or EP
- Proven experience in technical training or clinical support roles
- Background in EP labs, catheter ablation, or medical device support
- Higher travel availability is an advantage
Work Environment
This is a remote position requiring residency within Florida. You will travel frequently to hospitals and clinics across the territory and must be available on-site daily to support dynamic clinical needs.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $135,000 – $140,000. Additional compensation includes a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) with potential for significant performance-based earnings and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition assistance, disability coverage, and well-being programs. A comprehensive relocation package is available for candidates moving from Puerto Rico to Florida.
