Logical is looking for a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial operations and deliver reliable reports for our clients. This fully remote role involves managing multiple client accounts and building strong relationships within a culture of trust, flexibility, and dedication to excellence.
What You'll Do
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for clients.
- Manage and execute account reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are precise.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Support the development of financial reports for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions and client interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Provide guidance to junior accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Utilize accounting software and technology tools to streamline financial processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the accounting or tax industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online.
