Shape the visual world of a globally recognized MMO by designing and building high-fidelity 3D environments that bring large-scale battles to life. As a Senior 3D Environment Artist, you'll be responsible for modeling intricate architectural elements, natural landscapes, and biome-specific props that meet strict technical and aesthetic standards.
What You'll Do
- Develop detailed, production-ready assets including buildings, terrain features, and modular structures
- Design and refine photorealistic materials and textures using industry-standard tools
- Support team growth by mentoring junior artists and promoting best practices
- Collaborate with designers, tech artists, and art leadership to align assets with gameplay and engine constraints
- Contribute to the evolution of internal tooling and material libraries
- Ensure all work adheres to performance budgets and artistic vision
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of five years in game art with a focus on environment creation
- Demonstrated skill in crafting AAA-quality assets using Maya or Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance tools
- Deep familiarity with PBR workflows, baking techniques, and asset optimization
- Strong grasp of form, scale, and spatial composition
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- A portfolio showcasing environments, natural features, and architectural models
Preferred Background
- Knowledge of architectural principles and visual design
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or custom engines
- Familiarity with Houdini for procedural workflows
- Proactive mindset with a drive to explore new techniques and technologies
