Hyundai Autoever America is hiring a Security Operations Engineer III to safeguard our information systems, networks, and critical infrastructure. You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate assets by working across intrusion detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security policy compliance.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, test, and deploy new security technologies, developing operational documentation and runbooks.
- Evaluate, recommend, integrate, and automate security tools and processes to enhance protection.
- Conduct security risk assessments, exposure analyses, and security architecture reviews.
- Lead or assist in producing periodic or ad-hoc security reports for senior stakeholders.
- Analyze network security elements and architectural designs to maintain performance and resilience.
- Monitor and manage networks, systems, and infrastructure for attacks, malware, intrusions, and vulnerabilities, including full remediation.
- Implement, operate, and tune enterprise security technologies such as IPS/IDS, vulnerability scanners, encryption, and endpoint protection.
- Support security audits, compliance reviews, and risk-management activities, delivering required documentation.
- Participate in or lead incident response activities and provide rotational after-hours on-call support.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, controls, risk management, and incident response plans.
- Conduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify and evaluate vulnerabilities.
- Manage, configure, and monitor security tools and technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus platforms.
- Investigate, contain, and remediate cybersecurity incidents such as breaches and malware.
- Provide cybersecurity training to employees to promote security awareness.
- Stay current on emerging threats, trends, and best practices through continuous learning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Security Planning, or Security Operations.
- 2+ years of network administration/engineering experience.
- 2+ years of system administration experience.
