Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into infrastructure, software, and third-party platforms.
- Perform security evaluations, penetration testing, and maintain compliance for cloud-hosted environments.
- Ensure systems comply with data privacy regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support programs for identifying and addressing vulnerabilities using SCA, SAST, DAST, and bug bounty strategies.
- Assist in monitoring security operations and responding to security incidents.
- Help align newly acquired systems and internal projects with organizational security policies.
- Create and manage documentation, automated tools, and monitoring dashboards for security reporting and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar discipline, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Minimum of three years of direct experience in security engineering or architecture within software-driven organizations.
- Proven experience securing cloud environments, with preference for multi-cloud setups.
- Strong scripting abilities, particularly in Python, and fluency in Linux command-line operations.
- Experience with at least one major vulnerability scanning tool such as Wiz, Rapid7, or Sumo Logic.
- Knowledge of encryption methods and security protocols including PKI and TLS/SSL.
- Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting capabilities, and communication skills suited to fast-evolving environments.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with security frameworks like CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 is beneficial.
