ADVENS is hiring a Presales / Solution Sales Architect

Act as a key contributor in designing cybersecurity solutions for prospects and customers using the full portfolio. Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams to produce high-quality proposals, deliver impactful demonstrations, and serve as a trusted advisor. Support the organization's mission of cyber resilience and contribute to social and environmental projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design tailored cybersecurity solutions for prospects and existing customers using the complete product portfolio.
  • Develop professional, high-value customer proposals aligned with client needs and business goals.
  • Work closely with sales and cross-functional teams to strengthen collaboration and refine offerings.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving capabilities within the portfolio.
  • Partner with regional suppliers and collaborators to align offerings and expand technical knowledge.
  • Lead the creation and coordination of proposal content, ensuring accuracy and consistency across teams.
  • Assess customer requirements and objectives to define value propositions and shape winning offer strategies.
  • Deliver solution presentations and proof-of-value demonstrations in coordination with internal units and partners.
  • Foster strong client relationships by acting as a trusted technical advisor during decision-making processes.
  • Continuously refine proposal templates, sales materials, and internal processes for greater effectiveness.
  • Collect and integrate feedback from clients and colleagues to improve sales approaches and solution design.
  • Ensure seamless transition of awarded projects to delivery teams, providing technical clarification as needed.
  • Represent the company at regional and international events to generate leads and increase market visibility.
  • Support brand development and promote core values through customer interactions and public engagements.

Requirements

  • Enjoy direct interaction with prospects and clients.
  • Thrive in collaborative team environments.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, particularly in technical or cybersecurity domains.
  • Motivated to contribute to regional, national, and global growth initiatives.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and its evolving challenges.
  • Typically 3 to 8+ years of experience in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Proven background in roles such as Cybersecurity Consultant, Technical Account Manager, or Sales Engineer within a cybersecurity provider or MSSP.
  • Direct experience serving Enterprise and Mid-Market clients is essential.
  • Up-to-date technical expertise in IT and cybersecurity, especially incident detection and response solutions.
  • Full professional proficiency in German (C1) and English.

Nice to Have

  • Hold recognized IT or cybersecurity certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001.
  • Skilled at delivering persuasive demonstrations and defending technical-commercial proposals to senior executives like CISOs and CIOs.
  • Able to manage multiple projects across different topics simultaneously.

Compensation

competitive salary package consisting of a monthly fixed salary and a quarterly paid commission-based variable, which depends on the achievement of your individual targets. The split between fixed salary and variable depends on your level of seniority.
