Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential security risks in existing and new systems
- Design and deploy security controls to protect data and infrastructure
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Respond to security incidents with timely investigation and remediation
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into code pipelines
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity
- Develop and update security policies and procedures
- Implement encryption and identity management solutions
- Support secure cloud architecture and configurations
- Evaluate third-party security posture during vendor assessments
- Lead security awareness and training initiatives across teams
- Perform penetration testing and red team exercises
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
- Document security findings and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure secure deployment of applications and services
- Work with incident response teams during security breaches
- Integrate threat modeling into system design phases
- Support forensic investigations when needed
- Optimize security tools and monitoring platforms
Nice to Have
