AECOM is seeking a Security Designer to join its Enterprise Capabilities team. The role involves managing the design of complex integrated security systems and collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to develop tailored security solutions based on technical and operational requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage the design aspect of projects
- Manage relationships with the project team
- Meet with clients to document their technical and operational requirements
- Develop integrated security solutions for a wide cross section of clients
- Provide security solutions using surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication systems, and integrated collaborative systems for security and control operation centers
- Develop security solutions based on client requirements
- Collaborate daily with architects, engineers, and interior designers
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of security design experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate in a confident, articulate, and sensitive manner
- Proficient with AutoCAD/Revit
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of the AIA design process
