Apply is hiring a Seasonal IT Support Technician to assist our internal team during the busy period from September to December. You will focus on delivering prompt, effective technical support to employees via phone and text, primarily for Windows-based systems.

What You'll Do

  • Provide real-time technical support to employees via phone, text, and a ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows desktops and laptops, including system errors, login problems, and application performance.
  • Support users with network-attached storage (NAS) access and file sharing issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve printer issues in Windows environments (connectivity, driver issues, print queue errors).
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks such as user account setup and system access.
  • Document support interactions and recurring issues to help improve support efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of IT support or help desk experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and system configuration.
  • Familiarity with NAS devices (e.g., Synology, QNAP) and basic file permission management.
  • Experience with Windows-based printers and network printing setup.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user management.
  • Comfortable working in seasonal or high-volume environments.
