About the Role
Drive multilingual search engine marketing performance by leveraging deep cultural and linguistic expertise in Chinese markets, optimizing SEO and digital campaigns across key regions including Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Taiwan.
Responsibilities
- Utilize native-level understanding of Chinese language and culture to enhance multilingual search and digital marketing efforts.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research using local tools such as Baidu Keyword Planner and adapt content for target markets.
- Optimize SEO content for both Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong, Taiwan) and Simplified Chinese (Mainland China), ensuring cultural appropriateness and search relevance.
- Create high-converting ad copy aligned with local market preferences and search behaviors.
- Deliver strategic recommendations for on-page SEO, content architecture, and continuous performance improvements.
- Ensure all outputs are accurate, meticulously detailed, and well-organized.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in either Traditional or Simplified Chinese, with fluent English communication skills.
- At least two years of direct experience in SEO and content optimization, preferably focused on Hong Kong, Mainland China, or Taiwan.
- Skilled in using international and China-specific search and analytics platforms including Google Keyword Planner, Baidu Webmaster Tools, and Baidu Analytics (Tongji).
- Advanced ability to adapt content for local audiences with awareness of regional search trends.
- Strong dedication to quality, meeting deadlines, and clear communication.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated engagement with digital marketing and up-to-date knowledge of SEO developments in the Greater China region.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Chinese search platforms such as Baidu, 360 Search, and Sogou, as well as analytics tools like Tongji.
