About the Role
You will design, implement, and support SDKs that enable external developers to integrate core functionalities into their apps, focusing on reliability, ease of use, and compatibility across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software development kits for React and React Native environments
- Ensure SDKs are modular, well-documented, and easy to integrate
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify core features suitable for externalization
- Optimize SDK performance and reduce bundle size
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues reported by external developers
- Maintain backward compatibility while introducing new features
- Write unit and integration tests for SDK components
- Monitor SDK usage and gather feedback for iterative improvements
- Publish and manage packages via npm and other distribution channels
- Support technical onboarding for partner development teams
- Implement secure handling of data and authentication within SDKs
- Ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory standards
- Debug cross-platform issues between iOS and Android implementations
- Work closely with product teams to align SDK roadmaps with product evolution
- Create sample applications and code snippets for documentation
Nice to Have
- Experience developing SDKs or internal libraries
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Familiarity with health tech or medical device software
- Knowledge of HIPAA or other regulatory frameworks
- Experience with automated documentation tools like TypeDoc or JSDoc
