Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and processes aligned with application and system development phases.
- Lead and advise on automation testing strategy, from requirements through execution.
- Collaborate with technical product managers to validate completeness of technical specifications.
- Partner with development teams to establish end-to-end test approaches and execute test cases.
- Develop automated test scripts and configure necessary test environments.
- Generate detailed test outcome reports.
- Provide tier 3 technical support for diagnosing and prioritizing reported defects.
- Coach and guide other test engineers in automation best practices and tool usage.
- Establish and manage test environments required for validation.
- Evaluate technical requirements for clarity and completeness and provide actionable feedback.
- Develop test case documentation and define appropriate testing methodologies.
- Coordinate with developers, project leads, product owners, and infrastructure teams to plan testing phases across the development lifecycle.
- Support test and hardware teams in creating and running manual and automated tests, reproducing issues, analyzing defects, and following coding standards.
- Oversee test planning and resource allocation across multiple projects and deliverables.
- Act as the primary triage lead for incoming defects at tier 3 level.
- Produce periodic reports on bugs, errors, and escalated issues.
