Miltenyi Biotec is hiring a Scientist - Bioanalytical Quality Control Lentiviral Vectors to actively contribute to the quality of innovative medical products for treating cancer and autoimmune diseases. You will play a key role in the safe release of our products, working from our site in Teterow near Rostock, Germany.
What You'll Do
- Support the team in planning, executing, and evaluating quality control tests for lentiviral vectors.
- Contribute to the development, establishment, and validation of analytical methods.
- Apply diverse methods, especially qPCR, FACS, ELISA, and cell culture techniques.
- Use advanced techniques like Next Generation Sequencing and Digital Droplet PCR to address questions about identity, purity, and titer.
- Plan and execute tests independently while working closely with your team.
- Support commissioning and collaboration with external testing laboratories and the creation of quality documents.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry or comparable field).
- Knowledge in the analysis of proteins and nucleic acids.
- Hands-on experience in qPCR, FACS, and cell culture work.
- Motivation as a team player who wants to achieve goals together.
- Fluent communication in both German and English.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing methods or digital PCR.
- Expertise in the field of bioinformatics.
- Skills and experience in process automation.
