TetraScience is seeking a Scientific Data Engineer - EMEA to join our team. You will be a senior, hands-on member of the Scientific Data Engineer team, building the foundational Tetra Data layer and productizable solutions. This player-coach role requires technical expertise and the ability to provide mentorship.
What You'll Do
- Work with Product Managers and Solution Architects to understand business requirements, recommend outcomes, and build consensus-based solutions.
- Take ownership of building data models, prototypes, and integration solutions that drive customer success.
- Research and prototype data integration strategies for scientific lab instrumentation and prototype file parsers for instrument output files.
- Design with quality backed by unit tests, integration tests, and utility functions.
- Lead team-wide process and technology improvements on product quality and developer experience.
- Rally the team to finish Agile Sprint commitments, actively surfacing and resolving inefficiencies.
- Be driven by results with the pragmatic urgency to resolve blockers and unclear requirements.
- Provide mentorship to junior data engineers and show leadership.
