The Scientific Data Architect at TetraScience will drive technical innovation by designing and building AI-native data sets and next-generation lab data management solutions. In this role, you will work closely with scientists, product managers, and engineers to transform complex scientific data into impactful, AI-enabled outcomes in the biopharma research and development domain.
What You'll Do
- Design and build AI-native scientific data sets
- Bring data to life in next-gen lab data management solutions, scientific use cases, and AI-enabled outcomes
- Collaborate with scientists, product managers, and engineers to transform complex scientific data into actionable outcomes
- Prototype, demo, and build solutions to accelerate product delivery
- Perform exploratory data analysis and workflow optimization to enable new scientific outcomes
- Engage diverse audiences including scientists and executive stakeholders using communication and storytelling abilities
- Advise scientists in a consulting capacity to improve research, development, and quality testing outcomes
- Define, design, prototype, and implement productized AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments
- Bridge understanding between current scientific pain points and generalizable technical solutions
- Build extensible data models and applications for Biopharma end users to maximize data value via AI/ML integration
What We're Looking For
- PhD with +4 years or Masters with +8 years of industry experience in life sciences
- Extensive domain knowledge in drug discovery (target ID through lead optimization), preclinical development, CMC (all drug modalities), or product quality testing
- Proven track record of defining, designing, prototyping, and implementing productized AI/ML-driven use cases in cloud environments
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and scientific stakeholders
- Performed extensive exploratory data analysis and workflow optimization to enable novel scientific outcomes
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to engage scientists and executive stakeholders
- Advised scientists in a consulting capacity to further research, development, and quality testing outcomes
- Experience applying cutting-edge data methodologies to the biopharma R&D domain
- Demonstrated history of building extensible data models and applications for Biopharma end users
- Ability to maximize value from scientific data via analysis and integration with AI/ML
